Pajaro Dunes

Even though the word "timeshare" now brings to mind sitting through long presentations and listening to hard-sell salespeople, the Robichek family once owned a share of this charming (or as Sue calls it, the "duck bill") beachfront house in Pajaro Dunes (not far from Watsonville, California). Up to 5 times a year, the whole family had the privilege of getting away from "real life" for awhile. While watching the Pacific, we would occasionally spot dolphins, whales and lots of sea birds. Always the smart aleck, Mark never failed to point out that Pajaro Dunes translates into "bird dunes".
